Speaking up: Peta Murgatroyd was open and honest with her fans on Sunday as she spoke candidly about her IVF process
The New Zealand–born beauty revealed that it was her first morning injecting the hormone progesterone.
She began to tear up as she said, 'I looked at the injections and I'm like, "Holy crap."'
She picked up a transparent packet with the needle secured inside and held it up to the camera to show viewers.
'It's really big,' she marveled before telling her nearly one million followers she remembered a nurse suggesting that her husband lend a hand with it.

Speaking vulnerably she admitted she forgot what intramuscular meant and thought she'd be fine without help.
In one snippet she noted that her husband, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, had left earlier and she needed to take the hormone by 10am.
Peta added the detail that she'd have to use the needle in her butt, 'which is good, but it's like really actually hard to turn around that much.'
'I'm flexible,' she said, 'but to bend my back around to get the meatiest part of the butt is f***ing challenging.
'Everything is getting upped,' the Dancing With the Stars alum added. 'I've quadrupled my estrogen, I'm still on aspirin, I'm starting antibiotics...' she rattled off.
She ultimately had to give herself a pep talk. 'I just kept telling myself, "Peta, get it in. Be grateful. Move on with your day. Stop crying."'

Nine months later she lost a second baby, days before she planned to share the pregnancy news with Maks.
The third miscarriage came last October while Maks was in the Ukraine filming the country's version of Dancing With the Stars.
