As a former London constable, Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) finds if difficult to adapt to his new assignment in the sleepy British village of Sandford. Not only does he miss the excitement of the big city, but he also has a well-meaning oaf (Nick Frost) for a partner. However, when a series of grisly accidents rocks Sandford, Nick smells something rotten in the idyllic village.

Though Hot Fuzz is incredibly funny and cleverly written, it was hard to enjoy due to the extremely fast paced and quite aggressive editing. And the ending overstays it's welcome by quite a bit. I get that the point is that there are no cool action more about British cops, but this would've worked a lot better if it was edited better and on a smaller scale to let the writing and comedy shine.
