We are a global community of 110,000+ LGBTQIA+ women, trans and nonbinary individuals, and our allies in tech.
About us
Lesbians Who Tech + Allies is the largest LGBTQIA+ technology community in the world -- committed to visibility, intersectionality, and changing the face of technology. The 110,000 nonbinary, LGBTQIA+ women, trans and nonbinary individuals, queer women of color (and our allies) in tech who make up our community come from every background and live in over 40+ cities worldwide. Over 5,000 women and non-binary people in tech attend our San Francisco Summit, making us the largest professional LGBTQIA+ event in the world and the largest event for women in tech in California. Our programmatic work includes a coding scholarship for non-binary and LGBTQIA+ women called the Edie Windsor Coding Scholarship Fund, a mentoring program, Bring a Lesbian to Work Day, and a leadership program -- #LWTSQUAD -- focused on supporting our members as they move into senior leadership roles and onto corporate boards. We're not just creating communities; we're pushing the tech sector to be more inclusive and changing the face of the entire tech industry.

This week, I got to step up to the main stage at the LWT Summit for a *LIVE TAPING* of the #HelloMondayPodcast. My guest? Warby Parker CEO Neil Blumenthal. You'll have to wait just a little bit to hear our conversation, but let me take you to the event. It filled me up in ways I didn't expect! Thanks to Leanne Pittsford for the vision and persistence to gather our community for the 11th year in a row! Here are just a few of the amazing moments from this week: 🏳️🌈 Watching Kara Swisher go deep on AI with Mustafa Suleyman, CEO of Microsoft AI, and also hearing her get real about power with Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird. 🏳️🌈 Breaking bread with my incredible LinkedIn colleagues at a dinner hosted by Rosanna Durruthy and Imani Dunbar among others. 🏳️🌈 So many old and new friends like Kristy Hurt, Kerry Constabile and Bethany Eppner (she/her) 🏳️🌈 , Diane L. and Kyle Ranson-Walsh, the list goes on.... 🏳️🌈 Running into colleagues like Sarah Lowe and Kristen J. in the cafe at LinkedIn after it was all over, and sharing a common connection. Thank you! When I looked out from the stage, I saw something I've not witnessed before in the decades I've been in this business: THOUSANDS of queer women and allies, representing the power that comes from being substantial players in business. With economic power comes the opportunity to work for equality. Thank you Lesbians Who Tech & Allies! And thanks to everyone, whether you were there yesterday or not, who shows up and comes out at work!

I did it! I taught 50+ folks how to create prompt injections - so that they can now better understand and mitigate risks associated to genAI usage. A huge thank you to my supporters from Intuit that helped me prepare and were rooting me on during the workshop. A special thank you to my friends from many other companies that cheered me on and asked great questions throughout the workshop. And of course a heartfelt thank you to Lesbians Who Tech & Allies for creating this safe space for us to share and flourish. Go forth and use AI safely! 💗

On Tuesday, I got to attend the Lesbians Who Tech & Allies Summit in NYC while also celebrating #BisexualAwarenessWeek! 🏳️🌈 I’m proud to be a queer woman in the workforce and I’m incredibly grateful to those who paved the way for me to be here, exactly as I am.
