People are all saying the same thing about Australia Paralympic team's VERY revealing outfits at the Paris Games

  •  Australia's cycling kit is causing all sorts of controversy
  •  Outfits are being savaged for being unflattering

While Australia has enjoyed huge success at the Paris Paralympics, the outfits worn by the cycling team have copped a hammering on social media for poor design.

Amanda Reid continued Australia's strong form at the velodrome, defending her C1-3 500m time trial Paralympic gold medal in style on Sunday.

Reid's first place added to the two golds won by Korey Boddington and Emily Petricola at the Paris's National Velodrome 24 hours earlier - but many fans watching at home couldn't help but comment on the questionable attire of the Aussie athletes.

'It looks like an unfinished infographic for female anatomy,' posted one Reddit user.

'Giving the pole vault guy competition,' said another.

'An intern would have done a better job,' replied a third.

A fourth posted a photo of controversial breakdancing Olympian Rachael Gunn, writing: 'Same people that sent this lady to wear this outfit.'

Another Reddit user suggested that the designers of the unflattering outfits must've known what they were doing.

'Lighter colours attract the eye, anyone vaguely familiar with colour theory knows that. Whoever designed this knew exactly what they were doing,' they posted.

Another user replied: 'That all may be true but it still screams out 'let's see how much I can get away with embarrassing our athletes'.

The savage takedown of the Aussie uniforms comes after Matildas teammates Mackenzie Arnold and Alanna Kennedy revealed how unimpressed they were with their Olympic outfits.

The pair uploaded a video of themselves posing awkwardly while wearing the green and gold pleated skirts with green and gold tops, with countless fans posting comments ridiculing the designs.

Aussie AFL star Daniel Gorringe also blasted the Australian outfits worn for the  Paris Olympics opening ceremony last month.

'So did Australia miss the memo on the Olympics becoming fashion week,' Gorringe said.

'Because Mongolia look unbelievable, this is Haiti and they look again great … a fashion statement.

'Taiwan, just cool with it. Look at them, they don't care about the Olympics but they look good because they've rolled up as fashion icons.'

The Australian outfit is the shown with Gorringe staring at the image in shock.

'Did we miss the memo or like … what in the private school is this?' Gorringe says.

'Thank god there aren't medals for best dressed because we wouldn't even touch a bronze medal let alone a gold or a silver.

'Have we got netball at 11 and then debate at 1?'
