The incident occurred on July the 1st 1931: how could its consequences cause a Chinese boycott of Japanese-made products from... May 1931 ??? 82.225.146.84 (talk) 07:28, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. That needs to be corrected before "Coverage & Accuracy" is passed. Boneyard90 (talk) 15:20, 21 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The quoted source [1] claims the boycott started in June (not May), but that doesn't resolve this issue. By the way, apparently there were various Chinese boycotts of Japanese products, starting as far back as 1915. Boycotts were also imposed in 1928 as a result of the Jinan incident. 46.18.105.62 (talk) 16:14, 29 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
