[edit]

NE Ent/ Ceranthor/ SSTflyer/ Borock/ Dawnseeker2000/ Tigraan/ Sandstein: You all commented at WP:Articles for deletion/Earthquake sensitive about the abomniable article that previously existed under this name. Per suggestions made at that discussion I have created this entirely new article, based entirely (except for Orey and Berkland) on reliable, scientific sources, that critically examines why this wide-spread popular belief is scientifically incredible. I have also taken some care to not simply state what seems to be the scientific consensus on this topic, but also to explain why this is the consensus, for the gentle edification of readers whose understanding of this topic may need some readjustment. This article is not perfect, but it is vastly superior to what we had before. ~ J. Johnson (JJ) (talk) 23:16, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
