Beatrice Katherine Taylor's name was sometimes spelt differently, e.g. Kathrine or Kathleen. She was a philanthropist and a member of the Theosophical society at Queen's Gate, Chelsea. Her parents were Mr and Mrs Thomas Taylor of Aston Rowant, Oxfordshire. She spent "many hours" at the Physic Garden, Chelsea, studying natural history. (Source: "Obituary: Miss B.K.
