Jimmy Kimmel says Donald Trump can feel the “Tim Wallz” closing in on him after over 100 Republicans signed a “scathing” letter criticizing him as a candidate and endorsing his opponent, Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris.

On Live, Kimmel joked that the Republicans were suggesting Trump is “unfit to serve as president or to serve in a Cheesecake Factory.”

“It is a scathing letter. We’ve never seen anything like this from a candidate’s party,” he said, adding that there were 10 pages of signatures from 111 former national security officials and members of Congress.

The letter reads, “We expect to disagree with Kamala Harris on many domestic and foreign policy issues, but we believe that she possesses the essential qualities to serve as president and Donald Trump does not. We therefore support her election to be president.”

Kimmel ultimately praised Trump for one thing, however. “In some ways, Trump really is bringing the country together,” he commented.

He added, “Don’t worry, Don, you might not have every Republican, but you’re still endorsed by Rudy Giuliani, Sean Hannity, Eric [Trump], Don [Trump Jr.], Kid Rock, Hulk Hogan, Gargamel, Chachi, the Babadook, Bill Cosby and herpes, so…”

The late night host pointed out just how damning the letter should be, considering Trump’s own political party was turning against him.

“Imagine if you applied for a job at, let’s say a Big O Tire Store, and during your interview someone arrived with a letter signed by 111 of your former colleagues that says, ‘This guy sucks,'” Kimmel said. “I feel you might not get the job, right?”

Kimmel has been poking fun at the company Trump keeps recently. During an earlier broadcast, he aired a clip of Trump defending Sean “Diddy” Combs on Celebrity Apprentice and calling him “a good guy” and “a good friend of mine.” Kimmel pointed out that Trump also seems to think “Kim Jong Un is a good guy.”
