‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’
Quick, what’s the weirdest place to send The Walking Dead‘s resident bad-ass, Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus)? If you said “France,” then I have good news for you… The new spinoff series titled after the lead character opens with Daryl mysteriously floating on a boat, washing up on the shore of France. Over the course of the six-episode first season (the show has already been picked up for Season 2 by AMC), Daryl sadly does not eat a baguette or encounter a mime zombie. Instead, on his journey he encounters brand new threats, dangerous new walkers, and ultimately discovers a little something about himself. Don’t worry, there’s plenty of epic, zombie-killing action from Daryl, too. While Daryl Dixon may not win over new fans to the franchise, those still aching from the end of Season 11 wanting more should be pretty pleased with Daryl’s fancy French adventure.
