‘Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile’
Zac Efron’s take on Ted Bundy is truly something to behold. Directed by Joe Berlinger, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile gives viewers an inside-look at the serial killer and those closest to him, particularly his girlfriend, Elizabeth Kloepfer (Lily Collins). While Berlinger’s film attempts to shine a light on Collins’ Kloepfer, Efron steals the show by tapping into Bundy’s sinister charm — a trait that seems to have captivated true crime fans across the world. Fans of Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes (also produced by Berlinger) are sure to enjoy Extremely Wicked, which effectively dramatizes Bundy’s story without depicting many of its more graphic elements.
