Lana Del Rey got caught in a big storm down in Louisiana ... waiting out Hurricane Francine with her rumored new flame, Jeremy Dufrene ... and seeking shelter at his home.

The "Summertime Sadness" singer was spotted at Jeremy's place this week ... at the same time Francine came roaring through the state ... and they seemed pretty comfortable with each other, hanging out on his porch.

Lana and Jeremy -- a Louisiana-based alligator tour guide -- are looking more and more like a couple ... even though they haven't gone Instagram official yet. They've also been spotted recently at Leeds Festival in the UK and a celeb wedding in NYC.

Six Flags Mexico surely got an earful at customer service -- after a group of parkgoers were stuck in a harrowing situation amid a bout of very bad weather.

Severe flooding in Connecticut turned peaceful country roads into a disaster scene when at least a foot of water pounded down Sunday night.

The rainfall was much more than your everyday summer storm, as residents in Connecticut and parts of New York were trapped in cars, restaurants and homes, forcing multiple rescue attempts by first-responders.

Now THIS is a storm surge -- more than 100 pounds of coke washed up along Florida's shores in the wake of Hurricane Debby.

While Debby did not make a direct hit on the Sunshine State, she did stir several narcotics stashes that ended up on or near Florida beaches -- including 70 pounds of cocaine packages in the Florida Keys village of Islamorada.

Authorities say a total of 25 packages -- valued at more than $1 million -- were found by a good Samaritan ... and a week later another batch of the coco turned up near Everglades City.

Yellowstone National Park tourists were sent scrambling after an unexpected hydrothermal explosion occurred at a geyser there ... which left a destructive scene in the aftermath.

The incident took place Tuesday around the Biscuit Basin area of the park -- which is just over 2 miles away from Old Faithful. Luckily, there were no reports of injuries following the explosion ... however, it caused damage to the sightseeing boardwalk.

Biscuit Basin's parking lot and boardwalks are temporarily closed in order to prioritize visitor safety ... with YNP's geologists currently investigating the event. They say the hydrothermal explosion was not a sign of an impending volcanic eruption ... and said there's been no changes to the Yellowstone region as far as they can tell.

The remains of an American climber missing for 22 years have been found on the Peru mountain where he was buried by an avalanche.

Police in Peru say they found U.S. mountaineer William Stampfl's mummified body Friday near a camp on Mount Huascaran, one of the highest peaks in the Andes.

William was trying to summit Mount Huascaran back in 2002 when an avalanche buried him under snow and ice. Cops say his still-frozen body was found about 5,200 meters up the 6,768-meter mountain.

The massive Lake Fire that is blazing through SoCal reached Neverland Ranch on Tuesday ... but fire crews were able to save the property, TMZ has learned!
