With a diverse portfolio, this business is seeking candidates with complex procurement, contracts and commercial experience who have previously worked in a project environment. This company is investing heavily in upgrades, innovation, new infrastructure, new projects, supplier diversity and sustainability.

Your new role will involve:

• Manage procurement & contracts management activities to support capital delivery

• Negotiations and dispute resolution

• Supplier relationship management, monitoring progress, key milestones and navigating commercial and performance issues

• Identify areas for improvement including risk mitigation strategies and long term spend reduction

What you will need to apply:

• Proven ability to successfully manage all stages of the contracting lifecycle on a project basis

• Experience in procurement in heavy industry, resources, energy, construction or similar in capital projects

• Contemporary procurement mindset to work in this modern organisation - ability to achieve commercial outcomes while ensuring high levels of sustainability, SRM and probity are met

• Experience in a leadership or go-to role
