Clear Bag Policy

Lumen Field enforces measures designed to both enhance public safety and create a safe environment at Lumen Field and Lumen Field Event Center for all stadium events (including Seahawks games and Sounders FC matches).

Guests of Lumen Field may carry only the following style and size bag, package, or container into the stadium or when approaching queue lines:

Clear Bags

Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12". (Official NFL team logo clear plastic tote bags are available through club merchandise outlets or at nflshop.com). One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (ziploc bag or similar). Clear backpacks within the dimensions and have no more than 2 pocket

Small Clutches/Purses/Wallets

Small clutch bags, that do not exceed 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap, may be carried into the stadium along with one of the clear bag options.

Miscellaneous Bags

  • Seat cushions that are soft-sided only - no pockets, zippered compartments, metal frames or extra straps
  • Oversized bags cannot be placed in acceptable clear bags and will be denied entrance.
  • Exception for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the Gate 1 VIP Entrance, Gate 3 VIP Entrance, Gate 5 VIP Entrance, Club Entrance (Garage Level 5), Suite Entrance (Garage Level 6).
  • Outside food entering Lumen Field must adhere to the clear bag policy and dimensions.
  • Umbrellas are permitted, so long as they do not obstruct fellow fans' views or lessen their experience.
  • Heated or electric powered items including blankets, jackets, or handwarmers are prohibited.

Prohibited Items

The following items are not permitted at Lumen Field

Cans & Bottles

Any Glass, Aluminum, Metal & Aerosol Containers (Including sunscreen) or are hard sided

Weapons

Guns, Knives, Pepper Spray, Brass Knuckles, Loose Batteries, Wires, Box Cutters

Alcohol

Bottles, Cans, Airplane Bottles, Zip-Loc Bags, Shooters

Outside Beverages

Sodas, Specialty Coffees, Sports Drinks (Exceptions are made for factory sealed water bottles and soft-sided juice boxes)

Cameras, Video Recorders & Selfie Sticks

Cameras with video recording capabilities (including GoPros) or professional style cameras with large lenses (6" or longer) or tri-pods. Selfie sticks are also not permitted inside Lumen Field.

Noisemakers

Megaphones, Air Horns, Sirens, Horns, Whistles, Drums, Cow Bells

Flagpoles and Sticks to Hold Signs

Banners, signs, and/or flags cannot be on poles or sticks unless expressly authorized by event organizer. No banner, sign, and/or flag may cause a view obstruction.

Laptop Computers

Laptops are prohibited, but tablets (i.e. Surface, iPad) without a case are permitted.

Cases

Cases larger than 4.5" x 6.5" for items such as binoculars, glasses, tablets, etc. are not permitted in accordance with the NFL Bag Policy.

Battery Heated Gear

Battery operated heated blankets, jackets, costumes (to light or inflate) etc.

Motorcycle Helmets

Motorcycle helmets are not permitted, but bicycle helmets are allowed into entry.

Inflated Objects

Inflated footballs, soccer balls, and other objects are not permitted inside the stadium.

Footballs

Footballs are not allowed into Lumen Field on gameday.

Drones-Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Notice

For the safety of all guests and staff, the operation of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) on Lumen Field and Event Center property is prohibited. Violators are subject to trespass from the property and may be subject to FAA and/or local law enforcement action.

Permitted Items

  • Binoculars: Binocular cases are not allowed.
  • Blankets
  • Cameras: Personal still photography cameras and digital cameras. Photographic support tools that may interfere with others' enjoyment of the game (tripods, professional lenses - larger than 200 mm, etc.) are not permitted in the stadium. Camera cases are not allowed.
  • Children's Juice Boxes & Soft Side Single Serving Containers: Examples: Hi-C, Capri Sun's, and Milk products
  • Empty Personal Plastic Sports Bottles (soft sided)
  • Factory Sealed Full Water Bottles (can't be flavor enhanced or sparkling)
  • For Seahawks games, banners and signs are permitted in the stadium so long as they do not obstruct the view of guests or block stadium signage. Banners and signs must be event-related, in good taste and not commercial, political, or offensive in nature. All signs must be hand-held; signs on sticks are not permitted. Lumen Field reserves the right to remove any banner or sign. Other events held at Lumen Field may observe this same policy; please check the website of the event promoter.
  • Portable phone chargers are allowed in for phone use. They are not allowed in if they are going to power something else (ex. LED costume lights).
  • Umbrellas are permitted in the stadium as long as they are collapsible and provided they do not interfere with other guests' enjoyment of an event.
