Chelsea defender Malo Gusto has withdrawn from the France Under-21 squad with a thigh injury.
The full-back sustained the injury in Sunday’s 1-1 Premier League draw with Crystal Palace and was subsequently replaced by Mykhailo Mudryk with just over 15 minutes left to play at Stamford Bridge.
The defender has now withdrawn from his nation’s Under-21 European Championship qualifying fixtures against Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
