'Live from the Other Side With Tyler Henry' Guests, Episodes, How to Watch - Netflix Tudum
- “I liken my job to that of a mailman.”Sept. 18, 2024
Tyler Henry knows a thing or two about transmitting messages: The 28-year-old medium has been communicating with the dead since he was just 10 years old. Over the last decade, Henry has performed readings for many celebrities, including the Kardashians, Megan Fox, and the late Alan Thicke. With a waiting list of more than 600,000 people, he’s the most sought-after medium in the world.
Following the success of his Netflix series, Life After Death with Tyler Henry, the clairvoyant medium returned with a live series on Sept. 17. Across eight weekly episodes moderated by dancer and actor Amanda Kloots, Live from the Other Side with Tyler Henry will invite celebrity guests for emotional readings that might help them find hope, healing, and long-awaited answers from their loved ones who’ve died. The identities of Live from the Other Side guests are kept a secret from Henry until the cameras start rolling — in fact, Henry never knows who he’s reading until he sits down with them.
“I liken my job to that of a mailman,” Henry tells Tudum. “In the sense that I don’t write the letters, I just deliver the message. My priority is to ensure that I’m doing the message justice. I’m not responsible for what I get, but I do feel responsible for how I deliver it. I try to be tactful, diplomatic, thoughtful of the person’s feelings, but it’s very much an interpretive process.”
In Episode 1, “Connection,” Henry sat down with Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause, along with her sister, Shonda, and friends Chris Appleton, Nina Parker, and Molly Burnett. Stause lost both of her parents less than a year apart — first her father, Jeff, in 2019, then her mother, Ranae, in 2020.
“Chrishell’s reading had a lot of really special moments,” Henry says, “The family dynamics, the acknowledgments of her siblings — and I think on some level, just the fact that Chrishell was like a mother to her own mother, that that message validated feelings she had.”

Connection
In the opening moments of Episode 1, Henry told a producer what he anticipated to tap into during the live reading.
“There’s a reference to parents guiding someone’s love life through the other side,” Henry said as he approached the stage.
Then, the first guest for Live from the Other Side, Chrishell Stause, is revealed. Stause has spoken about her parents’ deaths in the past, but as moderator Amanda Kloots points out, Henry never knows who he’s going to meet before he meets them.
“I need you to know that she wasn’t afraid when she went,” Henry told an emotional Stause.
Henry also told Stause that the messages he received from her parents were related to her love life.
“They sent someone to try to take care of you,” Henry says. “There’s this sense of them having a hand in this.”
Stause has been married to Australian drummer G Flip since 2023.
“I knew if my parents had the chance to meet my partner, they’d love G so much,” Stause said. “G is a drummer [like my dad]. It really did feel like my parents sent G to me.” She shared that she had previously felt her mother trying to communicate that message.
Watch Live from the Other Side with Tyler Henry weekly on Tuesdays at 3 p.m. PST/6 p.m. EST.
