Bobbie Switzer passed away in Walnut Creek, CA Sept 10, 2024. Born in TX in 1933, the youngest of 11 and raised in Sonoma, CA. Bobbie married Ross Switzer in 1953 and they raised their 4 children in Cupertino while working at Sylvania/GTE. Bobbie loved to cook and entertain, hosting holidays and parties for family and friends with good food and fun – no one ever went away hungry. They retired to Lake Wildwood in CA and enjoyed many years of good friends, beautiful surroundings and travel in their motorhome and on cruises. Ross died in 2009 and Bobbie moved to Rossmoor in Walnut Creek in 2012 closer to family, enjoying new friends and her beloved cat, Aimee as well as the trees and wildlife outside her windows. Bobbie will be dearly missed and is survived by her children Mike (Diane), Jeff (Kathleen), Laura (Ted), Brad (Nancy), 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
