Low-cost health screenings will be available 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 14 at two locations in Easton, city Council member Frank Pintabone announced Wednesday.
A variety of medical screenings will be offered at the Easton Community Center, 901 Washington St., including blood pressure and oral cancer checks, and educational materials regarding oral health and sexually transmitted infections will be available. Attendees should go to the center’s rear parking lot, which is off South Ninth Street.
In addition, dental screenings will be available at Bravo Supermarket, 230 Line St.
Pintabone said the services have a sliding scale fee as low as $5, based on a person’s health insurance. Someone without coverage will not be denied care, he said.
Star Community Health and Valley Health Partners will provide the services.
