One of the most old fashioned but still the best (and relatively under-used) treatments is 900mg aspirin as soon as the aura starts. Taken with caffeine’. It’s such a debilitating condition and awful for those in whom nothing seems to work. The worst bit is that nearly all of the treatments (including aspirin) can make the headache worse if over used too! Rock and a hard place. 😔

A really hot bath. Almost instant relief. Migraines are caused by blood vessels in your head dilating. A hot bath flushes your skin and redirects the blood away.
