Locations signs for the shoot originally read "Urinal Cakes", but after the producers decided this may attract too much attention to the shoot, they changed them to "Houston McGregor" aptly named after the Director's, Brian A. Miller's, pet Beagle.
Producer Randall Emmett demanded a Producer Fee and Credit on the film along with Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson to help recoup the cost of $1,000,000 that Emmett owed Jackson for his investment in the Cheetah Vision production company. Emmett also demanded that they cast his fiancee Ambyr Childers in a small supporting role to help build her credits.
Director Miller was never given an actual Directors Cut of the film. Film Time/Last Time Producer Mark Sanders edited the film in post without Miller's involvement, forced him to pay to fly to Toronto to give guidance to the Editor, but cut ever corner necessary in post production and delivered a film without the Director ever seeing a single cut.
