Violence & Gore
-
- A man gets hit by a car, then backed over. His bloody face is shown for a while onscreen, before blood starts flowing out of his head. Slightly graphic
- A man is shown with flesh wounds after being burnt, slightly gory
- The whole show contains occasional scenes of blood and gore, and all of them are pretty graphic.
- It is implied that someone is raped and murdered, and the victim is seen under a bedsheet, with blood staining it.
Profanity
-
- Profanities are at a strong level, but used in certain sequences frequently. Generally used slightly sparingly.
- Only 9 minutes into the first episode and 2 F-WORDS, only the beginning. Lots of profanities.
- There are plenty of F-words in each episode and at least 2 C-words, one in the first season and one in the second season. Very unnecessary!!
- The PBS version does remove the profanities.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
-
- Pubs are shown infrequently in the show, and people are shown drinking in the background.
- A tea made from Fentanyl extracts is shown, non-graphically.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
-
- There are multiple riot sequences, and every scene showing violence generally has a tense foreshadowing tone.
