- Aimee Spinks is a UK based award-winning unit stills photographer who began her career in 2011. Over the years Aimee has worked on several academy award-winning productions and was recognized as the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce's Future Face of Arts and Culture 2018 for her work within photography.
Alongside shooting stills on set, Aimee provides key art photography and is the founder of online stills approval platform, Image Approvals.
Aimee has a particular love of and talent for shooting action sequences which is reflected in her own two decades of martial and performance arts training. Previously having been trained by internationally renown stunt performer, Liang Yang in Wushu Kungfu, Aimee now competes as a national level pole sports athlete and trains alongside professional circus and performance artists to hone her craft and keep her timing sharp when it comes to capturing fast-paced action on set.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Aimee Spinks
- Before developing a career behind the camera, Aimee wanted to be a stunt woman and spent several years training in various martial arts including, Wu Zu Quan Shaolin Kung Fu, Tae Kwondo, Kickboxing, Capoeira and Wushu Kung Fu, in which she earned national titles and a Silver World Medal in the 2006 WKA World Championships. Having moved on from martial arts, Aimee now spends her free time at her local aerial/circus studio where she trains and competes at national level pole sport. This experience helps Aimee when it comes to shooting action sequences where understanding body mechanics and timing of moves matters most.
