CBS All Access has canceled its fact-based dark drama series, Strange Angel, after two seasons.
Strange Angel just had its proverbial wings clipped by its platform home, CBS All Access, which has canceled the historically-based, lasciviously occult, television series, leaving no room for a third season.
CBS All Access’s cancelation of Strange Angel after two seasons on the premium streaming service, as reported by THR, marks only the second time in the platform’s five-year history that an original series has been met with cancelation, with the lone precedent stemming back to its December 2018 cancelation of drama One Dollar. However, it won’t be an isolated incident, with the merger of CBS and Viacom expected to unleash a deluge of new original content for CBS All Access, which will lead to a statistically-inevitable share of casualties.

The Halloween celebration recently continued beyond October 31st at the 12th annual Crypticon Minnesota, which once again brought together a wide range of horror genre actors, artists, and fans for a weekend to remember and conversations to treasure. While enjoying the amazing booth experiences at the event, I had the great pleasure of catching up with The Walking Dead's Jayson Warner Smith (Gavin) and Cooper Andrews (Jerry), to talk about their respective roles in the series' eighth season and the intense events of the seventh season.
Thanks so much for taking the time to talk, guys. Jayson, your character Gavin really intrigues me because he seems almost reluctant to be a Savior based on how he reacted when he found out that Benjamin died, and also when Rick came to the Sanctuary, he almost seemed like he wanted to take a time out and be like, "Let's talk about this.

I keep discovering the benefits of having Amazon Prime. Free shipping seems to be only the tip of the iceberg of perks. A huge perk is the Amazon Prime Video app that has free streaming for Prime members. This app not only has some unconventional titles amidst established classics, but it also has the capability to download films and TV shows to watch offline when time may be on your side, but Wi-Fi availability isn’t. I know other streaming apps have that functionality also, but from personal experience, the Amazon one seems to be the only one that works consistently.
Streaming has revolutionized the way we watch films.

The Walking Dead can be a depressing show, which seems fitting when it focuses so much around the dead and dying. We always look for that glimmer of hope though, that things will get better for the survivors. Then of course we remember, this is The Walking Dead. You almost have to be a masochist to watch this show sometimes.
When things go wrong during what should be a routine meeting between The Saviours and the Kingdom Morgan (Lennie James) has to take action. With these actions though he starts a chain of events that may see the people of the Kingdom and most importantly Carol (Melissa McBride) join in the war against Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).

7.13 Bury Me Here
Throughout this season of The Walking Dead, there has only been one character amongst the Kingdom of King Ezekiel who has been trying to push the plot forward. Richard, who got beaten up by Daryl, who has tried to get Morgan to speak out in favour or war, who knows what happens when you sit around and wait for other people to do something when you need to be the one who does something, has been the only person in the Kingdom who has been rattling the saber. Of course, he's been foiled at every turn, and he's consistently had his decisions turn bad on him, but at least he's trying something.

Last Week’S Review: ‘Say Yes’ Is A Good Old-Fashioned Zombie Fight
[Spoilers follow for “The Walking Dead” Season 7, Episode 13, “Bury Me Here.”]
Whose Episode Is It?
We’re with the Kingdom this week, and Morgan takes center stage. Morgan’s story this week is so central, in fact, that his decisions eclipse the ostensibly important key decisions of other characters, dulling the impact of the overall story. It also doesn’t help that the first half of “Bury Me Here” plays out in extremely predictable fashion.
A Shred of Humanity
I’ve always been fascinated by the way “The Walking Dead” approaches Morgan, since he’s one of the only characters to preach non-violence on a show that often endorses the opposite (remember when Tyreese got put in the “Kill more or I kill this baby” situation?). So it was probably just a matter of time before the show found a way to get Morgan back on the murder train,...

In the world of The Walking Dead, any notions about surviving the zombie apocalypse through methods of non-violence are constantly proven to be impossible. On tonight's new episode, resident pacifist Morgan (Lennie James) was finally forced to abandon his "kill no living thing" credo when push came to shove and Richard (Karl Makinen), on his continued quest to goad the Kingdom into war with the Saviors, incited violence by hiding one of the cantaloupes in the Kingdom's delivery. His suicide mission backfired when that long-haired Savior goon killed young Benjamin (Logan Miller) instead, pushing Morgan back to the brink of insanity. Eventually, Richard got what he wanted when Morgan smashed his head in...

The new "Twin Peaks" isn't slated to debut on Showtime until 2017, but a flurry of speculation about it happened last week with a tweet from Go For Locations indicating that filming had wrapped on the "first two seasons" of the series.
