2025 NFL Draft No. 1 pick odds: Carson Beck favored; Quinn Ewers surges

Georgia's Carson Beck has maintained his position at the top of the betting board to be the No. 1 NFL draft pick in 2025.

From Week 2 to Week 3 of the college football season, the Bulldogs' starting quarterback saw his odds lengthen slightly to +400 from +320. 

However, Texas QB Quinn Ewers has surged up the board to +650 from +1100 and is closing in on Beck.

Let's take a look at the odds to be the No. 1 pick in the 2025 draft at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Sept. 18.

Carson Beck, Georgia: +400 (bet $10 to win $50 total)
Quinn Ewers, Texas: +650 (bet $10 to win $75 total)
James Pearce Jr., Tennessee: +650 (bet $10 to win $75 total)
Shedeur Sanders, Colorado: +800 (bet $10 to win $90 total)
Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss: +900 (bet $10 to win $100 total)
Cam Ward, Miami: +1000 (bet $10 to win $110 total)
Jalen Milroe, Alabama: +1200 (bet $10 to win $130 total)
Travis Hunter, Colorado: +2000 (bet $10 to win $210 total)
Mykel Williams, Georgia: +2000 (bet $10 to win $210 total)
Harold Perkins, Jr., LSU: +2500 (bet $10 to win $260 total)
Will Campbell, LSU: +2800 (bet $10 to win $290 total)

The movement for Quinn Ewers on the oddsboard comes after he exited the Longhorns' game against UTSA in the second quarter last week. 

With backup Arch Manning taking over at QB, Texas got the 56-7 win.

So far this season, Ewers has thrown for 691 yards and eight touchdowns.

Rounding out the top three to be drafted first in next year's draft is James Pearce, a defensive lineman for the Volunteers.

One player whose odds have tumbled in this market is Shedeur Sanders.

At the end of April, Sander opened as the favorite to be next year's No. 1 pick. 

However, three weeks into the season, he's now fourth on the board, moving to +800 from +650 over the last week.

On the season, he's passed for 999 yards and nine touchdowns.

In Colorado's Week 2 loss to Nebraska, Sanders made headlines after the game, when he appeared to throw his offensive line under the bus, commenting to a reporter, "How many times did [Nebraska quarterback Dylan] Raiola get touched?"

Raiola was not sacked once against Colorado.
