Pacers' T.J. McConnell: Extended by Indiana
The Pacers signed McConnell to a four-year, $45 million extension Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
McConnell is coming off a career year in 2023-24, as he averaged 10.2 points, 5.5 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 18.2 minutes across 71 regular-season appearances, including four starts. The 31-year-old guard was a crucial factor in the Pacers' run to the Eastern Conference Finals and is set to be the long-term backup point guard to Tyrese Haliburton.

Pacers' Dakota Mathias: To sign with Indiana
Mathias and the Pacers agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract Monday, Tony East of SI.com reports.
Mathias will join the Pacers for training camp, but it's likely that he ends up playing for the Mad Ants. Mathias has 14 total NBA games under his belt, with short stints in Philadelphia and Memphis.

Pacers' Cameron McGriff: Signs Exhibit 10 deal with Pacers
The Pacers signed McGriff to an Exhibit 10 contract Friday, Scott Agness of FieldhouseFiles.com reports.
McGriff will join the Pacers for training camp and, barring a surprising change of events, will be with the team's G League affiliate for the upcoming season. The 26-year-old hasn't played an NBA minute since 2021.

Pacers' Kyle Mangas: Will return to Indiana
Mangas signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Pacers on Wednesday, Tony East of SI.com reports.
Mangas averaged 16.9 points per game for the G League's Indiana Mad Ants last season. He'll compete for an NBA spot during training camp, but if waived, the Pacers will retain his G League rights, so he'll presumably wind up with the Mad Ants to begin the 2024-25 campaign.

Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton: Dealing with minor leg injury
Haliburton is dealing with a minor leg injury that restricted his playing time during the Paris Olympics, Brian Windhorst of ESPN reports.
Haliburton was under a minutes restriction during the Paris Olympics due to the injury, and he underwent an MRI that was not previously announced by Team USA. The 24-year-old saw very little action in the Olympic Games, but the fact that he played at all bodes well for his full return to action in the Pacers' training camp this fall. Haliburton and the Pacers are coming off a deep playoff run during which the superstar dealt with a litany of injuries, including a left hamstring injury, left leg soreness, a right ankle sprain, a sacral contusion and lower back spasms.

Pacers' Enrique Freeman: Signs two-way deal
Freeman and the Pacers agreed on a two-way contract Thursday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Freeman, who spent five years at Akron, was the 50th overall pick in the 2024 Draft. It's not surprising that he was signed to a two-way contract. He'll spend the majority of the season in the G League getting developmental minutes.
