  • Cavaliers' Isaac Okoro: Staying in Cleveland

The Cavaliers re-signed Okoro to a three-year, $38 million contract Saturday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Okoro was a restricted free agent but is now set to stay in Cleveland for at least three more years. In 2023-24, he averaged 9.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 27.3 minutes across 69 regular-season appearances, including 42 starts. Next season, he should continue to battle for a starting job with Max Strus.

  • Cavaliers' Tristan Thompson: Returning to Cleveland

Thompson and the Cavaliers agreed to a one-year contract Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Thompson rejoined the Cavaliers last season and saw a decrease in production, averaging 3.3 points and 3.6 rebounds in 11.2 minutes per game over 49 regular-season appearances. He'll remain in Cleveland for another season, but it wouldn't be surprising to see his diminished role continue since Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley should see most of the work under the basket.

  • Cavaliers' Luke Travers: Inks two-way deal

Travers signed a two-way contract with the Cavaliers on Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Travers was selected by Cleveland with the 56th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, but he's been playing with Melbourne in the NBL in recent years. He'll have a chance to compete for a role in the NBA during the 2024-25 season on a deal that will allow him to move between the G League and parent club with ease. He averaged 12.0 points and 7.6 rebounds in 26.3 minutes per game over 25 appearances with Melbourne last year.

  • Cavaliers' Emoni Bates: Gets another two-way deal

Bates signed a two-way deal with the Cavaliers on Tuesday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

Bates was the 49th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft but spent most of his rookie season in the G League after inking a two-way deal. He made 15 NBA appearances last year and averaged 2.7 points in 8.9 minutes per game. Bates possesses enough talent to be an NBA contributor but has to improve his consistency if he's going to carve out a role for the Cavaliers, who've established themselves as potential contenders with Donovan Mitchell at the helm.

  • Cavaliers' JT Thor: Inks two-way pact with Cleveland

The Cavaliers signed Thor to a two-way contract Saturday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

After three years with the Hornets, Thor will join the Cavs on a two-way deal. The 21-year-old played in 63 regular-season games for Charlotte last season, during which he averaged 3.2 points and 2.3 rebounds across 12.4 minutes. Thor also shot a career-high 34.6 percent from deep while averaging 1.3 attempts per game.
