Bulls' Talen Horton-Tucker: Latches on with Bulls
Horton-Tucker agreed to an Exhibit 10 deal with Chicago on Wednesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Horton-Tucker spent the last two seasons in Utah, averaging 10.7 points per game in 2022 and scoring 10.1 points in 19.8 minutes per contest in 2023. The five-year NBA veteran is only 23 years old, and he'll have an opportunity to make the regular-season roster with an impressive training camp.

Bulls' Kenneth Lofton: Joining Chicago
The Bulls signed Lofton to an Exhibit 10 contract Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Lofton will have the opportunity to compete for a roster spot in training camp for Chicago. In 21 games between the Grizzlies, 76ers and Jazz in 2023-24, Lofton averaged 4.6 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 9.5.

Bulls' Lonzo Ball: Playing full-contact 5-on-5
The Bulls confirmed Wednesday that Ball (knee) has started playing in full-contact five-on-five scrimmages and hasn't faced any setbacks, Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
This is a massive hurdle for Ball to clear. The 2017 No. 2 overall pick hasn't played in an NBA game since Jan. 14, 2022 and has undergone three surgeries on his left knee during that stretch, including an experimental cartilage transplant for a new meniscus. Cowley notes that no professional athlete has ever returned to high-level competition after having that surgery. Ball picked up his $21.4 million player option for 2024-25, so the Bulls would certainly be incentivized to play him if he's healthy. However, it's unclear how he'll fit into Chicago's plans after the team traded for Josh Giddey this offseason.

Bulls' Josh Giddey: Misses out on double-double
Giddey tallied nine points (2-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 11 rebounds, six assists and one block in 28 minutes for Australia during Friday's 77-71 loss to Greece in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Giddey led Australia in rebounds during Friday's loss, but his struggles from the field prevented him from recording a double-double. While the 21-year-old guard also dished out six dimes, his five turnovers contributed to his minus-10 point differential.

Bulls' Josh Giddey: Game-high eight assists in win
Giddey posted 17 points (7-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-4 FT), eight rebounds and eight assists across 29 minutes in Australia's 92-80 win over Spain in the Paris Olympics on Saturday.
Giddey stuffed the stat sheet while putting up a near triple-double in Saturday's win. The 21-year-old has become a focal point for Australia's offense, and his ability to distribute the ball has been encouraging as the Boomers face a plethora of challenges in a stacked Group A with remaining games against Canada and Greece. Giddey will likely continue to serve as one of the squad's main facilitators alongside veteran guard Patty Mills, and his ability to stuff the stat sheet will be crucial in the squad's remaining group-phase matchups.

Bulls' Josh Giddey: Suiting up for Australia
Giddey is on the Australian national team's roster for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Giddey was dealt to the Bulls in June but will focus his offseason efforts on playing in the Olympics for Australia. The 21-year-old guard is set to be one of the team's focal points on offense, even while playing alongside veterans like Patty Mills, Joe Ingles and Dante Exum.
