Tubi is a free app which I love. It does have some commercials but they are quick and don't bother me to watch them since there really aren't that many and as I said they are quick which is a small price to pay for free movies but what does bother me is I will sit here and watch an hour and half long movie for say the first hour of it and it just shuts off. It is always after an ad and happens every time I watch something. The movie will play fine the whole time, go into the scheduled commercials and instead of going back to the movie to continue, it shows the cover for the movies to watch it again (there is no 'continue where you left off'. I need to explain that I search topics such as "Natural Disaster Movies" and once I pick a movie, it will play and when it is over it will go to another movie also a natural disaster. For whatever reason, if I make it through the first movie and I am on the second one in the string of movies, it will shut off as I described and show the cover of the first movie to watch again. Sometimes I don't even know what the name of the movie I was watching is and even if I do remember, it is such a pain to go searching for it and then having to fast forward trying to find the point in the movie it shut off at. I really do like the movies and selections and love that it will go into similar movies automatically when it is over but this shutting itself off and resetting like I wasn't watching anything is for the birds and very annoying. I will be searching other apps that I can watch without this aggravation.

I was hesitant to try this out, but I'm really glad I did. Writing this review because I am a huge horror movie fan and this movie has a *ton* of stuff, including movies that were previously available on Prime but which aren't any more.

In addition to the huge horror movie selection, it has some foreign movies and TV series and a lot of categories to peruse, though I haven't gone through most of it because it's almost Halloween and I'm trying to get my fix!

Basic information about the service itself:

- Absolutely zero registration is required at all. Without an account you just can't set parental controls, make watchlists or resume stopped video after you've exited it. Otherwise, no content is locked behind any paywall or accounts, which was mind-blowing to me in an age where everyone wants your phone number, e-mail, address and credit card number on file at any given moment.

- It is subsidized by commercials, but they're really not that invasive. I haven't even kept track (guess I should have), but they come up at a rate of *maybe* up to a minute and a half every 20 minutes, if that. It's free from my perspective, they're not too common, and it reminds me a little of television-lite - in some perverse way they're almost enjoyable and help break up the binge.

- The interface is really comfortable. I like that with my standard TV remote (I keep misplacing my Fire Stick remote, not gonna lie >_>) I can pull up the playback settings, enable Closed Captioning with three button presses, etc., and it's all really intuitive and right there in one spot.

My wife and I have likely watched over 20 films on this streaming service so far during quarantine. The picture and sound quality isn't great, but I find that it actually adds to the feel of some of the classic/cult horror films from the 70s and 80s that the service offers.

They do have commercials, but they are few and far between. Some movies even only have one commercial once at the beginning, and the most I've seen it two commercial breaks in a film.

Pretty great for a free streaming service. Limited options in terms of quality films and recent films, but love those old school cult classics!

Likes:- Was easy to sign up for. Downloaded and signed up via Amazon Fire Stick. Good colour and sound and quality of picture. I investigated and found out what type of movies and TV productions were available and so I was not disappointed with what I have received. Many of the films tend to be B grade and/or old movies that probably would appeal to old movie film buffs and bring back memories to those of us who are getting on in years. The films are sorted into their genres which makes it easy to find what you are looking for. I found the adverts were played at reasonable intervals and only 1 or 2 at a time and therefore were not annoying ... Overall I enjoy searching through all the old movies and the B grade movies. I haven't found any modern day blockbusters yet and I am not expecting to find any but I knew that before I signed up. Not having to provide credit card details and pay a subscription are big pluses too ...
