In fact, even Captain Furrer believes that the CEO stabbed the young woman after a jealous argument. However, since the criminal trial ended in an acquittal, a new trial seems almost impossible. Borchert and law firm boss Dominique nevertheless promise their client Siegenthaler that they will find a way to bring the guilty party to justice. When Bernadette is shot with his rifle and her husband Beat is seriously injured, everything points to Siegenthaler.
