Following his videotaped mea culpa last week, Chris Brown continued his music-free forgiveness tour last night, showing Harlem he’s got game. The Chris Brown All-Stars took on the DJ Webstar All-Stars in the Entertainer’s Basketball Classic, which is a very advisable photo op since it reminds us that he’s still a fun-loving kid.
It’s exactly these kinds of images that his team needs to keep fresh in the public’s mind — not these. Unfortunately Chris’ smarts were short lived because following the tourney, he posed for this photo:
Save for the smiles, this could be a repeat of any variety of courthouse photos from the last five months.
Now, I’m sure he had the best of intentions — “these are my fans,” and all that jazz — but perhaps Chris should stop sandwiching himself in between any law enforcement officials while the memory of his crime is still pretty raw. Just a thought….
