NFL bettor wins $90,000 predicting all eight division winners

A DraftKings Sportsbook gambler won big on an insane NFL futures parlay that came true on the last day of the football season.

The eight-leg bet predicted each of the NFL’s divisional winners, which included a mix of long shots and favorites.

The odds were more than 350/1, coming in at +35720, or an implied probability of about 0.28.

The bettor won a whopping $89,550.22 off a single $250 gamble.

It didn’t come easy.

As mentioned, the bettor included a number of divisional favorites, including the 49ers (-600), Chiefs (-330), Lions (-200), Ravens (-110) and Bills (+100).

The former four came relatively easy, but the latter was a massive sweat.

Sitting at 6-6 after a loss to the Eagles, Buffalo seemed to be cooked for the AFC East title following Week 12.

The Bills, instead, won their final five games in a row, including a Week 18 road win over the Dolphins to clinch the improbable division win.

Buffalo now is one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl.

And then there were the underdog teams, which included the Buccaneers (+165), Cowboys (+170) and Texans (+475), the biggest long shot of them all.

Betting on the NFL?

All three underdogs clinched their respective divisions with wins during the final weekend of the NFL’s regular season, but it was Houston that did it in the most dramatic fashion.

On the road against Indianapolis, the Texans were tied with the Colts midway through the fourth quarter before Devin Singletary reached the end zone to put them up for good, clinching the division and most unlikely leg of the parlay.

The Cowboys also needed some help, and the Eagles lost two of their last three games against the lowly Cardinals and Giants to hand the division to Dallas.
