Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009 var den 7. Junior Eurovision Song Contest og ble avholdt i Kiev, Ukraina den 21. november.[1] 13 land deltok i konkurransen.[2]

Arrangør

Natsionalna Telekompanija Ukraïny ble valgt som arrangør av konkurransen[3] i konkurranse med BTRC (Hviterussland) og RTS (Serbia).[4]

Deltagere

EBU bekreftet at 13 land skal delta, med Sverige som kommer tilbake og Bulgaria, Hellas og Litauen som trekker seg.[2]
