Dune: Part Two

Dune: Part Two

I always assumed that Return of the King was the pinnacle of blockbusters, and the pinnacle of sequels as a whole. Massive films have came and went, huge sequels, massive budget blockbusters etc, nothing has changed that

Until today with Dune 2. A completely mesmerising cinema experience that nothing compares to. Villeneuve’s magnum opus, a masterpiece that exceeds every sci fi film before it and Part 1+2 combined gives us arguably one of the greatest films ever made

Adapting Frank Herbert’s book at the best of times is a seemingly impossible task, but to not only do the entire text justice, but to also make impactful additions that feel straight out of the book is insanely impressive to me

Timothée Chalamet gives the performance of his career and (most likely) the performance of the year, unbelievably excited to see him in Messiah whenever we’re blessed with it

Truly a once in a lifetime type of masterpiece
