Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead

When I say that I’ve watched this before, it’s my guess that I was probably nine years old when I last saw it, not that it’s a movie a nine-year-old should’ve been seeing exactly, but hey after all it is about a temporary void of parental supervision.

Past some of the characters, that Clown Dog fast food place, very vaguely that cover of Tommy James’ “Draggin’ the Line” and of course the death of the babysitter as revealed in the title, I didn’t really remember all too much with regard to what else happens and how everything gets “resolved,” so it was kinda like going in fresh.

But yeah, solid flick and can see why P.M. Dawn shouted out Christina Applegate on “Set Adrift on Memory Bliss” a little later in 1991.

Pre-X-Files David Duchovny sighting too, or Double D as we call him *holds finger to earpiece* “Oh, no one’s ever called him that? Right then, my apologies.”
