  A wonderful tonic of optimism. Full of delightful intricacies and heartfelt moments. Frances Ha is fueled by the enormous charm of Greta Gerwig, who was born to play this role. Despite her struggles Frances’ charisma is unbreakable. A New York fairytale boosted by its accessibility. A comfort food film.

  K is alone. Distinct. Dreadfully distinct. The world is harsh, yes, but at least it’s real. The part of him that longs for that authenticity is dead now. He killed it. Or maybe he only hid it. 

  My girlfriend is a witness to how intently I watch this movie. I’m so glad this film exists. This is damn near perfect as far as I can tell. A work of art. The kind of film…
