Longlegs 2024
I wanted to see Longlegs in the theatre because this style of film (design, time period, audio) is my vibe. I’m also a fan of Nicholas Cage and how weird he is along with loving Maika Monroe ever since It Follows. I caught the matinee (so I wouldn’t creep myself out too much solo at night).

Monster 2003
Rewatched as an adult who watched crime documentaries regularly. I was way too young the first time I saw this film and it traumatized me. Charlize Theron is an acting beast and absolutely killed this. *Sorry. Pun not intended*

Don't Worry Darling 2022
Holy. FVCK!!!
I had no idea Olivia Wilde had such a gorgeous directing eye. And of course, Florence Pugh and Harry Styles are forces to be reckoned with. The story is intensely compelling and I was so excited for this roller coaster. The ending is powerfully gorgeous and a wonderful button for all women to see. Hell fvck yea! Siri, play Beyoncé, “Who Run The World”.

Best Man Down 2012
Only pressed play because of my odd crush on Justin Long…and the synopsis. Turns out, this is a really great film that I believe more people need to see. Death is a topic a lot of people are uncomfortable with, but films like these help to shed some light. Isn’t it odd that everyone shys away from understanding or discussing death and it’s quite literally the one thing we will all experience? Hmmm. Anyways, watch it. It’s great.
