awful. impossible to fathom how molly ringwald went from (rightfully) despising bender, who had fucking sexually harassed her and joked about raping her, to suddenly kissing him at the end of this movie. the characters were all insufferable and poorly written imo. i really did try to like it but it wasn’t for me. can’t believe i wasted my time on this… you are better off watching heathers (1989), the superior 80s coming of age film.
