Numbuh 13

Numbuh 13 is an operative from Sector N. He is extremely accident-prone and causes havoc wherever he goes. He is hated by the other members of his sector so much that whenever he leaves the sector, they will do anything to keep him from coming back.

Numbuh 13 has braces. He wears glasses, a saucepan as a hat, and brown shoes.

Personality[]

Numbuh 13 is seemingly infamous in the KND (effectively the Toiletnator of the organization) because of his incompetence and clumsiness, of which he is ignorant to. In spite of this, he is a surprisingly determined operative, willing to put his best foot forward in a mission. Unfortunatey, this usually manifests into him aimlessly bossing other operatives around, messing up the mission, or becoming arrogant and a bit over his head. He believes himself to be much more capable than he really is, of which everyone else, even the villains are aware of.

Numbuh 13's sector, Sector N, understandably don't like him, especially their leader, whose literal job is keeping his mayhem under control.

Apperance[]

When he first appeared in Operation: M.A.C.A.R.R.O.N.I., had been captured by Mr. Boss and other villains, and Sector V traded Toiletnator in exchange for him. His sector, however, was overjoyed with Numbuh 13's disappearance; clearly celebrating before Numbuh 1 called them about returning Numbuh 13 to their sector.

In Sooper Secrets and Boomerang Bloopers, he describes himself as "The real source of strength behind the Kids Next Door", which everyone else disagrees with.

In Operation: I.T., he almost became Supreme Leader of the Kids Next Door until a bunch of other operatives promptly pounced on him trying to take the position to keep such a clumsy operative from becoming leader. He somehow managed to tag Numbuh 23 in the mess of operatives.

He makes a brief appearance in Operation: S.C.I.E.N.C.E., where he was the main subject in Numbuh 1-2-3's "Thumbercise"-exercise video at the annual 2x4 Technology Convention. Numbuh 13 is first shown with small weak thumbs, but by using the Thumbercise builds them bigger before accidentally poking his own eye.

Sector V brought Numbuh 13 along on their mission to smuggle corndogs past Mr. Fizz's blockade in Operation: S.M.U.G.G.L.E.. Numbuh 1 had him promoted to lead the mission as part of a convoluted plan to frame for smuggling illegal corn dogs and get him arrested by Mr. Fizz's police so he can cause enough havoc to distract Mr. Fizz. While his plan does work out, it's actually Numbuh 3 who ends up messing up the mission, as she had eaten all of the smuggled corndogs!

In Operation: I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S., he steals a box of Skunky Scouts from Laura Limpin and slams the door in her face without paying. While this earned him and his sector points in the scavenger hunt, it also angered Laura, which earned him an attack from "The Big Badolesent".

• Numbuh 13's number is an obvious pun, referencing the number 13 being considered unlucky by superstitious people.
• Numbuh 13 has noticeable parallels with the Toiletnator.
  • Both are seen as jokes in the organization/group they're working in.
  • Both are determined to achieve their goals in spite of their ineptitude and rather poor reputation.
  • Both tend to believe that they are more capable than they think, and are often gullible or naive.
• Numbuh 13 erroneously uses Numbuh 16's color pallete at the end of Operation: Z.E.R.O..
