Do you want to chat about personal websites? Are you looking for assistance in building your own website? Are you interested in helping other people learn about websites and share your thoughts about owning a presence on the web? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, consider attending Homebrew Website Club.
Homebrew Website Club (HWC) is a bi-weekly event series run by volunteers in the IndieWeb community. At HWC events, you can meet other people who are interested in personal websites. You can discuss technology, get feedback on what you’re working on, and learn from others who are also interested in personal sites.
Everyone who wants to own their presence on the web is welcome to attend HWC, irrespective of your past experience with technology or building a personal site.
The next HWC meetings can be found on the IndieWeb Events web page. Today, there is both the Europe / London (co-hosted by me) and the Pacific meetup to attend. Both meetups are virtual. Come along to one of the calls if you’re interested!
