It runs alongside Event Tickets and provides additional features, including custom ticket fields and the ability to integrate with other e-commerce platforms, including WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads. An Event Tickets Plus subscription also gives you access to product updates and premium support.
To keep your plugin up-to-date and retain access to assistance from our support team, yes, you need to renew each year.
However, that doesn’t mean you have to renew in order to keep using our products. Once you download and install our plugins, they’re yours to use as long as you like. But if you don’t renew your subscription, you won’t receive important product updates or support.
Nope! Event Tickets works with or without The Events Calendar. Even if you don’t have The Events Calendar, you can create RSVPs and tickets on WordPress pages and posts.
Yes, with the help of our Community plugin. Before you set up Community, you’ll need to have a few of our other plugins already installed. The result is a powerful combination that empowers users to create and sell tickets for the events they submit; as the calendar owner, you earn revenue by charging ticket fees and splitting payments with the sellers.
Yes. Event Tickets automatically sends an email confirmation after attendees register or RSVP for an event. If the attendee purchases a ticket, the confirmation email will also provide a ticket to scan at the door for admission.

You can use our free commerce solution, Tickets Commerce, to sell tickets with PayPal. And as of Event Tickets 5.9.1, you can create free tickets, in addition to charging for tickets, with Tickets Commerce.
With Event Tickets, the commission fee is 2% (on top of Stripe fees). If you upgrade to Event Tickets Plus, the commission fee is 0%, although you do still have to pay Stripe fees. If you have upgraded to Event Tickets Plus and are still seeing a notice regarding the 2% commission fee, go to Events > Settings > Licenses to ensure that your license key has been entered correctly and verified.
