I removed the redirect you placed on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_for_Nothing_(band) because it was patent nonsense. All For Nothing the band has nothing to do with A Day To Remember's debut album.Robo042 (talk) 05:23, 28 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

There's more than one band with that name: a Dutch punk band and an American ska band. It was redirected to the album article as it was mentioned in the body that Jeremy had previously been in the American AFN. If an article was already written about the Dutch one, I would've simply added a hatnote. However, since there wasn't an article at the time, a redirect seemed appropriate. Admittedly, that info from the album page should probably be added to the ADTR article. Yeepsi (talk) 13:06, 28 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I believe we've crossed paths here and there in music related areas (I focus on modern hard rock in the same way you seem to focus on modern punk and post-hardcore type stuff) and I believe you do good work. So, I just wanted to confirm that you received this ping asking if you had any input on a discussion I created. I'm trying to clean up and standardize the WP:ALBUMS/SOURCES list, and an editor thought you may have input. It's not that I'm trying to remove sources from it, just trying to make it so we have more/better explanations when people ask about our music source list. So any input would be helpful. I know source discussions doesn't quite seem to be your thing either though, so feel free to abstain if you'd rather not too.

Thanks! Sergecross73 msg me 13:51, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Just logged on, only saw the ping now. I'll join in the discussion. Yeepsi (talk) 22:31, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Chronicles of Life and Death, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Derek Grant (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on The Air I Breathe (song) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article does not exist or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. When creating redirects

[edit]

Hi. When you create redirects in future, can you please put a bit more effort in to make sure the title is at least mentioned at the target article? If it isn't, perhaps you can add it yourself. You created Warzone (Yoko Ono album), but that title is not mentioned whatsoever at Ono's article. Yes, I know it's been announced, but to a casual observer this could be interpreted as WP:OR. Thanks. Ss112 16:26, 24 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article All for Nothing (band) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non-notable band, fails WP:MUSIC

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The Black Velvet one I hadn't looked through when I put it on the talk. I think the Kludge interview established when their keyboardist joined, but I never got round to adding it to the article. Yeepsi (talk) 12:19, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
