Day and Night Bomber

[edit]

Spec 26/23 was for a single-engined day bombing landplane, it doesnt appear to mention any requirement for night use? MilborneOne (talk) 21:05, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Flight in a photo caption 1926-3-11, p.147 has it as a day bomber, though Barnes says night. Two-bay was certainly my error: clearly 3. There comes a point where inner wing struts become centre section struts but I don't (now) think there is any ambiguity here. Barnes skirts round this, saying "the outer wings were originally single bay" (my italics), though he doesn't finish the thought.
Do you know where the & comes from in the Notes, as in Barnes&? Can't seem to clear it.TSRL (talk) 07:28, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorted last Q; like Raynham getting out of his spin, I don't quite know how!TSRL (talk) 07:45, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
