World of Speed: Difference between revisions

World of Speed (abbreviated WoS) is a massively multiplayer online action-racing (MMOAR) video game developed by Slightly Mad Studios. The game is arcade-styled and involves racing on different tracks both taken from the real world (e.g. London and Moscow) as well as originally made tracks where players can compete in different game modes in different settings. This includes in different weather- and road-conditions like rain, fog, winter day and night. The game is designed to run on most modern PC (Windows) systems. There are not yet any official system requirements, however just like with many MMO games, this is usually released in Closed Beta.

The racing modes expected at the beginning are circuit and sprint stages, including social in-game events suchs as Clubs where players and teams can chat, communicate and compete in different types of team-based gameplay modes like Territory Wars or drive around in a Free Roam are called Airfield Playground.

There is no official date for when the game will be in Closed Beta 1, however it is officially announced that it will start somewhere in 2014. As of July 2014, it is widely supported in the game community that the staff will announce the date for Closed Beta 1 in near future.

The game is planned to ever-expand its car range. The different cars vastly ranges from everyday rides, tuners, exotics, muscles cars to fast supercars with hefty performance.
