DescriptionCanal diversion under the M42 - geograph.org.uk - 154584.jpg
English: Canal diversion under the M42. The concrete banking show where the Worcester and Birmingham Canal was diverted into a new channel to the west so that the M42 could cross over the top. The M42 is on a long hill at this point and the canal was moved to give the motorway a uniform gradient.
