Tom Seaver

George Thomas Seaver (born November 17, 1944 in Fresno, California) was a Major League Baseball pitcher from 1967 to 1986, whose career was primarily spent with the New York Mets.

His best year was 1969, when he earned the Hickok Belt as top professional athlete of the year and Sports Illustrated magazine's "Sportsman of the Year" award.
