A tag has been placed on [[:Green india initiative]] requesting that it be [[Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion|speedily deleted]] from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the [[WP:CSD#Articles|criteria for speedy deletion]], articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the [[Wikipedia:Notability|guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable]].

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding <code>{{tl|hang on}}</code> at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion (<code><nowiki>{{db-...}}</nowiki></code>) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on '''[[Talk:Green india initiative|the article's talk page]]''', but be aware that once tagged for ''speedy'' deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

You may want to read the guidelines for specific types of articles: [[Wikipedia:Notability (people)|biographies]], [[WP:WEB|websites]], [[WP:BAND|bands]], or [[WP:CORP|companies]].<!-- Template:Nn-warn --> <span style="">[[User:Salih|<font style="color:#e90;">Salih</font>]] [[User talk:Salih|(<font style="color:#08c;">talk</font>)]]</span> 12:50, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

If I were to write on a topic, What should i think of?
1.) Reputation on google, or
2.) Reputation in news sources.
Well, if granted one chance, I can rewrite this article with your guidelines. [[User:Prakashpanwar|Prakashpanwar]] ([[User talk:Prakashpanwar#top|talk]]) 13:06, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

:I suggest that you use the [[WP:Article Wizard|Article Wizard]] for your next article. The page will then begin as a [[WP:UP#SUB|user sub page]] where you can ask for the text to be reviewed before it goes "live" as a real article. If you choose a topic that has been mentioned in several news sources, it is much more likely to pass Wikipedia's rules on [[WP:N|notability]]. -- [[User:John of Reading|John of Reading]] ([[User talk:John of Reading|talk]]) 15:52, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

Image filename problem

Hi. You uploaded a file with the name AAM.jpg but unfortunately there was already a file with that name - a quite different image which was in use in the article All-American Murder. I've reverted your error but you might want to check, please, for filename conflicts before you try again so that your upload doesn't cause problems. Thanks and best wishes DBaK (talk) 17:19, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • PS If you sign talk page messages with four tildes like this: ~~~~ it will automatically insert name and date when you save it, and make talk page readers happier! :)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dr Prithviraj requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Paste Let’s have a chat. 19:21, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

April 2011

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Dr Prithviraj, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Paste Let’s have a chat. 20:16, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Mr.Paste, u reverted the article editing by me and all the link/references and extra things got deleted. I dont have the back up of it. Kindly restore it and then place the tag again. I will not re-type again and again. Thanks. Prakashpanwar (talk) 20:32, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have re-written the article with necessary references and as per the A7, and specified the importance of the subject in the article itself. Though, if you want you can suggest in this respect, so that I will try to correct the same. Thanks Prakashpanwar (talk) 06:13, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but I choosed the wrong license will uploading the picture. I will now keep this thing in mind to select the most appropriate License before uploading. Thanks for the intimation. Prakashpanwar (talk) 16:41, 21 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File:Biba Singh.jpg was from the subject's Facebook page. You claimed it was your own. Unless you are yourself Ms Biba Singh, or her webmaster, this photograph wasn't your own. This was again a copyright violation. Fut.Perf. 20:48, 21 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This picture .i.e Biba Singh.jpg was used with permission of her sought at Facebook page of her. You can inbox her to enquire her yourself. This is the second time, if I do an infringement let all responsibility be mine. Anyways thanks for the intimation. Prakashpanwar (talk) 21:04, 22 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to upload a photo from somebody else with their permission, you need to document that permission by forwarding their message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia.org". It needs to explicitly specify that the author is releasing the image under a free license such as cc-by-sa; a mere permission "for use on Wikipedia" is not enough. Never upload such items simply claiming they are your own. Fut.Perf. 22:05, 22 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on R. H. Sankhala, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Catfish Jim and the soapdish 06:36, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Delete it if its as per the Wikipedia policies to delete it. What I know about notability is that notability of researcher is through his published works and as per my knowledge, Journals etc normally do not cite references of a research paper by a non-notable person. If these are the Wikipedia policies, delete it immediately. And if you are considering to do a discussion, firstly cite all the sources which were added by me and other people, as I fetched them with a lot of hard work.
