Hey, I went and changed the reference fot IUCN to the specific IUCN template that the pro wikipedians used on my article, instead of just doing the cite web one. I hope that's okay! Gou ?

Where is S Gou, Mali? Gao, Gao Region ? --Ettrig (talk) 14:49, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for pointing that out! I'm just now starting this article and I hadn't really proofed over the validity of the information that was already there. I just put cities in alphabetical order and removed links that weren't needed. I checked the reference and it said Segou, Mali, so it was just a typo of the previous person who wrote it. --Imthebombliketicktick (talk) 18:02, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What is Inland delta Mali? --Ettrig (talk) 11:40, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I checked the range map from my source and it was referring to the inland Niger River Delta, which is a big area of floodplains and lakes in central Mali. I should have clarified that, sorry! --Imthebombliketicktick (talk) 02:09, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No, don't feel regret. Just keep up the good work. Try to find wikilinks for all the "places" that we cannot expect a large majority of readers to be familiar with. --Ettrig (talk) 08:22, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thank you! I found all of them that I could last night. Some of the "rivers" were sometimes classified as streams, so they didn't have wikipages but other than that, I think I linked a good amount of material. --Imthebombliketicktick (talk) 19:39, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Proofing

"Urban and agricultural development and increased damming and use of hydroelectric power in rivers in countries such as Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana are more threats to the African manatee's habitat and life, and thick congestion of boats in waterways may cause African manatees to have a deadly run-in with the vessels." -- Towards the beginning of this sentence, it looks and sounds like there are too many "ands". I'd try to fix it, but I wasn't sure if you meant increased damming and increased use of hydroelectric power, or if you just meant the use of it in general, not an INCREASED use. Imthebombliketicktick (talk) 20:22, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, you're right! Thanks. --Theawesomestpersonyouwillevermeet (talk) 00:00, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No problem! :) Imthebombliketicktick (talk) 07:54, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
