A*M*E is a British singer-songwriter.

Early Life

A*M*E was born Amy Kabba in Freetown, Sierra Leone, on 13 December 1994. She moved to London when she was 8 years old after her mum's hair salon was burned to the ground and life became too dangerous. [1]

Career

In 2010 Amy was spotted by manager Wayne Russell while performing in her school talent show. [2] After showcasing for a number of labels she was signed to Gary Barlow's Future Records, an imprint of Universal Music.
