Split Rock is the name of two townships in the United States:

It is also the name of some rock formations:

  • Split Rock is a distinctive rock formation on the west side of Lake Champlain. It was the first known boundary between French Quebec and English New York.
  • Split Rock is also the name of a giant bifurcated rock with historical significance that is located in New York's Bronx. The Split Rock described in this article is the one in which the heroic Anne Hutchinson died during a massacre.
  • Split Rock, is a historic landmark in Easky, County Sligo, Ireland. It was actually carried to its current location by an Ice Age glacier but local legend holds that the rock was split as a result of an argument between two giants and that if one walks through the split three times it will close!
  • Split Rock (64°47′S 64°3′W / 64.783°S 64.050°W / -64.783; -64.050) is a distinctive oval-shaped rock, cleanly split in a north-south direction to the water line, lying 0.1 mi northwest of Janus Island, off the southwest coast of Anvers Island. The descriptive name was given by Palmer Station personnel in 1972.
  • Split Rock, also known by the popular name Tracy's Rock, is a large boulder in the Tautus-Littrow Valley of the Moon, visited by the Apollo 17 crew.
