Wiki Loves Monuments 2024 in India

Wiki Loves Monuments 2024 in India is a part of the international Wiki Loves Monuments competition, the largest photography competition in the world, and helps Wikipedia document monuments and heritage buildings. The 2024 edition, organised by the West Bengal Wikimedians User Group, continues the tradition of encouraging people to capture and share images of monuments and historical sites across India which has been an important part of preserving and sharing the country’s rich architectural and historical heritage through photographs.

Objective: To encourage documentation of India’s cultural heritage by photographing monuments and heritage sites, and to improve the visual content available on Wikimedia Commons.

Eligibility: Open to all photographers, from amateurs to professionals. Participants can be based anywhere but must adhere to the competition rules.
