English: "Geological park" is a name that has become coincidentally attached to many different parks. On the other hand, geopark is a brand of UNESCO. A geological park is not per se a geopark although some sources believe geopark is a short form of geological park. The etymology of geopark, however, is independent. Some parks including the name "geological park" happened to become UNESCO national level parks but the connection is accidental.
